Era & Co Home is a small online store, run from the Seattle area, for furniture made for homes with dogs and cats: beds and loungers built like real furniture, crates that pass for cabinets, raised feeders, and leather and rope leashes, collars and harnesses that are made to last.
Why we exist
A dog's bed is the one piece of furniture in the house that nobody designs. It gets bought in a hurry, pushed into a corner, and hidden when guests come over. The same goes for crates, bowls and the rest of what an animal needs. There are makers doing all of it beautifully. They are just scattered, hard to find, and sold with claims that fall apart when you ask for the spec sheet.
So we gather them in one place, ask for the spec sheet, and put it on the page.
How we choose
We list a small number of pieces from makers who stand behind their work. A piece has to look like it belongs in a well-kept room, be built to take an animal, be cleanable in the way animals require, and come with real figures for what it is made of. If we cannot get those facts, we do not list it.
What you will find on every product page
What the piece is made of, in the maker's own terms. Real dimensions. How to clean it, and which covers come off and go in a machine. Recommended dog size where the maker gives one. When it should arrive. And where a maker does not publish a figure, the words "not stated", because a blank is more honest than a guess.
What we will not say
We never claim anything is proof against a pet, because nothing is. We use "pet-friendly", "performance fabric", "stain-resistant" and "scratch-resistant" only where the maker's own specification supports the word. When a frame is veneer rather than solid wood, we say so.
How it ships
We do not hold stock. Every piece ships directly from its maker to you, with tracking sent the moment it leaves. Some are made to order, and each product page gives an honest delivery estimate before you buy. Shipping is shown at checkout, so the figure you see before you pay is the figure you pay. A person, not a form
Questions go to support@eraandcohome.com and are answered by someone who knows the pieces. If you are unsure whether a bed suits your dog, or which crate size to choose, tell us about them and we will tell you honestly, including when the answer is no.
