A dog bed made the way furniture is made: a solid hardwood frame, joined and hand-finished, holding an orthopedic memory-foam mattress. It is drawn to sit beside a sofa rather than be hidden in a corner.
For pets: a sealed waterproof liner keeps accidents out of the foam, and the tailored cover zips off and machine-washes cold.
